What this is.
A repository for code that still works on hardware nobody sells any more. 8086 boxes, Atari 8 bits, Apple II Plus machines, and whatever else gets added.
How it works
- Make an account and confirm your address. That gate keeps the drive by rubbish out.
- Upload code, DLLs, compilers or debuggers, tagged with one platform.
- Everything waits in a queue until it is approved. No email either way — check your account page.
- Every item has its own discussion thread. Anyone verified can ask; only the uploader answers.
- Rate things out of five, in halves. One rating each, change it whenever.
- Grab an emulator so you can actually run what you downloaded.
Downloads are counted. Views are not. The visitor counter at the bottom of the front page counts visits, not refreshes.
